About me, briefly.
I’m a design director at Thinkso Creative, a branding and design agency in New York where I work on a wide range of projects on the web and in print. Among the many projects I’ve worked on at Thinkso are websites for Expeditionary Learning, The Flea Theatre, Stadion Money Management, and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, as well as an interactive recruiting portal for Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. My print work includes annual reports for the Mount Sinai Department of Medicine and Department of Surgery and a hardcover book commemorating Morgan Stanley’s 75th anniversary.
Prior to joining Thinkso, I was a senior designer at Carbone Smolan Agency, where I worked on large scale branding projects for financial institutions, law firms, nonprofits, and luxury real estate and hotels. Before that I spent time as an animator at Olive Jar Studios and an associate producer at Hasbro Interactive and Large Animal Games.
I graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University with a B.A. in Art History and Philosophy, courses of study which at first glance don’t seem to translate directly to a career in graphic design but which have proved extremely useful.
Honors and Awards
My work has twice been included in the Rebrand 100 and has earned, among other honors, an American Graphic Design Award, an Award of Excellence from Communication Arts and an Award of Merit from SEGD.
